Hi Everyone – 

Just sending an update for the good of the group with us all coming back together for the next few rehearsals at our regular 6:45 – 8:30 PM timeframe! This is a long email with lots of info!

SOLO AUDITIONS: Val has the opening part of The Rain is Over and Gone, though there are various other solo opportunities in this piece: auditions will be Monday, March 23rd from 6:00 – 6:35 PM. For the solos – note that I am working to be mindful of everyone who has had recent solos in concert selections for our concerts, so pending all who comes out to audition, know that I am trying to spread opportunity based on who comes to audition! 

ANTHEM PERFORMER OPPORTUNITIES: We still have available spots if you are looking to sing the National Anthem for the Brewers Game on June 13th (it’s a Bobblehead Day!) or DockHounds Game on June 23rd – please let me know! 

TICKETS FOR THE BREWERS: If you’re not looking to sing at the Brewer Game though want to come, please let me know – $35 Tickets in the Outfield Loge for Brewers vs. Phillies.

OLD FALLS USO STYLE SHOW: On the horizon for June 19th. Info being sent in a separate email later this week. Interested in joining this superfun event through Old Falls Village in Menomonee Falls – Let me know!!!!

Thanks for some fantastic rehearsals to start off both our sacred and spring session of music with our Oconomowoc Community Choir Family! What a great sound and so much fun! 

1) Scheduling Over the Next Few Weeks:

Monday, January 26th: Sacred Rehearsal from 6 – 7 PM; then Soprano/Alto Sectional

Monday, February 2nd: Sacred Rehearsal from 6 – 7 PM then Tenor/Bass Sectional

Monday, February 9th: Board Meeting from 6 – 7 PM then ALL BACK TOGETHER at 7 PM for full rehearsal! 🙂 

2) Solo Interest: Thanks for the various emails/texts/mentions of solo interest – I’ll share about a future audition date for best fit solos, balance from session to session, and more, moving forward at our February 9th Rehearsal. AKA – I don’t have a full out plan yet, ha! 🙂 

3) All Song Notes & Practice Tracks are Emailed to Members – Reach out if you didn’t receive.

4) USO Show Update: Date is now Friday, June 19th at Old Falls Village

Through the cold, darkness of winter, and very long days (for me that means like yesterday being as a wolf mascot for two hours)…know that our choir family brings smiles and the feeling of home, together – it really is one of the most awesome things, and we are so grateful you are a part of it.
