Why waste your talent singing in the shower? The Oconomowoc Community Choir needs your voice! If you have a desire to be part of a singing ensemble and our OCC Family, with a desire for learning music and carry a tune, and you’re interested in singing with a blended SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) choir, we’d love to have you join us.
Who We Are
We are a versatile, welcoming group. Our ages range from middle school to working young professional, to retired, and beyond. Many of us have experience with church choirs and other musical groups. A few of us have advanced musical educations. Together, we form a diverse whole.
When We Meet
We have three rehearsal sessions per year, which meet from 6:45-8:30 PM on Monday nights. Our sessions run from October thru December (Fall/Christmas); January thru Beginning May (Spring); June thru August (Summer Pops). To be notified when our next session is about to begin or if you have other inquiries please use our Contact Us Form.
Where We Meet
We hold rehearsals at First Congregational UCC in Oconomowoc – 815 Concord Rd. in Oconomowoc, WI. During sessions, we meet on Monday from 6:45 PM – 8:30 PM in the sanctuary.
Membership Requirements
We ask that our members pay a refundable $20 membership fee, which covers the cost of our music and folders. Each year, many of our choir members donate their folder deposits to the choir’s scholarship fund at the end of each session.
