We are overflowing with pride and excitement to announce that our Oconomowoc Community Choir Family has received a prestigious invitation from Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) to perform on December 1st, 2026 under the direction of composer, Heather Sorensen in the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City!

Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) is the leading producer of dynamically charged musical excellence. With its unforgettable concert experiences in renowned venues, empowering educational programs, and its global community of artists and audiences, DCINY changes lives through the power of performance.

This is the ultimate professional recognition for our organization, from recognition from our livestreamed videos of Lunar Lullaby, Sing Gently, and other notable choral works acknowledged by DCINY as premiere choral performances by our ensemble. For us this once-in-a-lifetime experience is a chance to step onto a stage where legends have performed, collaborate with world-class peers, and receive invaluable instruction from a celebrated conductor and composer. This invitation acknowledges years of passion, practice, and commitment from every member of our ensemble.

💖👐🌍 Our $10,000 Goal: Making the Music Happen

While the artistic opportunity is priceless, the financial cost of realizing this dream is significant. We are seeking to raise $10,000 by September, 2025, to cover essential fees that are necessary to participate successfully in this monumental event.

Your contribution will directly fund the logistics and foundational elements of our performance, offsetting financing of our direct performance costs of each performer attending this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We are offering three levels for your generous donations for our Carnegie Hall Performers, with a lens of giving back to our community through your sponsorship and support of us!

• Aficionado: $50 to $249 Donation = Mention on our Carnegie Page+ 2 Complimentary Tickets to One Concert for our 2025-2026 Season
• CURRENT AFICIONADOS: Ginger Carney & Kit Dailey

• Supporting Patron: $250 to $499 Donation = Mention on our Carnegie Hall Web Page + 2 Hours of Volunteer Time from Members of our Choir + 2 Complimentary Tickets to One Concert for our 2025-2026 Season
• CURRENT SUPPORTING PATRONS: 120 on Wisconsin in Oconomowoc!

• Section Leader: $500 to $999 Donation = 4 Hours of Volunteer Time from Members from our Choir + 4 Tickets to Two Concerts for our 2025-2026 Season and Social Media Shoutout AND A Spotlight on our Carnegie Page on our Website!
